“The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is one of the country’s top producers of Hispanic doctors and dentists, according to the magazine Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.
The university’s Dental School and School of Medicine ranked second in the number of graduate professional degrees after the 2004-2005 academic year, the magazine reported this summer. Diverse included the local university in its list of the Top 100 Minority Graduate Degree Producers.”
