“Latino leaders have long struggled to corral new voters in metro Atlanta.

On Monday they plan to try out two new prods: a billboard and “The Bogeyman.”

The billboard will rise off Buford Highway in Norcross, featuring the Statue of Liberty and the slogan “Su VOTO Es Su VOZ!” or “Your VOTE Is Your VOICE!” It’s the first of several billboards that the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials plans to erect in concert with a voter registration drive targeting Spanish speakers in nine counties.”
