“Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist wasn’t campaigning in heavily Hispanic Miami-Dade County as he stood in front of a “Crist para gobernador” banner Friday at a Cuban restaurant. Nor was his opponent, Tom Gallagher, who appeared at a Cuban-Mexican restaurant four hours later.
Each was courting the smaller, but growing, community of Hispanic voters in Broward County, where the eateries are located.”
