“Three years ago, Tulsan Fred Ramos agreed to help guide the young Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as it worked to advocate Hispanic business and industry here and across the state.

Ramos — after a stint as the chief technology officer for a Tulsa company — agreed to a two-year stay, but his position as the organization’s executive director lasted another year even as he focused on creating a statewide, centrally located Hispanic chamber.

The State Hispanic Chamber in Oklahoma City became a reality in April, and Ramos will now redirect his energies as that newly formed group’s executive director.”
