“Miller Brewing Company today announced that Miller marketer and 15-year beer industry veteran Dave Dixon has been promoted to senior director of Hispanic marketing. In his new role, Dixon will lead the Hispanic marketing group and report directly to Randy Ransom, Miller’s new executive vice president and chief marketing officer, who until his recent appointment led Miller’s Hispanic market strategy.

In his three years at Miller, Dixon has a proven track record of strengthening key brands and building marketing capability through the recruitment of top talent. As economy brand director at Miller, he led efforts to revitalize the company’s Milwaukee’s Best Light, Mickey’s and Olde English 800 brands. Most recently, Dixon served as senior director of talent acquisition and development where he recruited talent for Miller’s marketing team. Earlier in his career, Dixon spent seven years with The Stroh Brewery Company where he was director of marketing operations, director of marketing research and international marketing manager. Prior to that, Dixon spent three years as President of The Ivan Taranov Brewery Company, a brewing and distribution company in Russia. “
