“Actors and media arts students recently spent a Saturday at McFarland State Park to shoot scenes for “Florence Arizona,” a short film dealing with immigration issues. The project will be used to help pitch a script by David Asser, a Phoenix immigration attorney, to movie studios.
“Florence Arizona” depicts both sides of the contentious immigration issue now being debated around the country. Asser wrote the script based on true events encountered during his eight-year career.”
