“Entravision Communications is exiting the Dallas market with a deal to sell its five radio stations to Liberman Broadcasting for $95 million. The Spanish-language owner of TV, radio and outdoor properties announced the sale in conjunction with its second quarter earnings report.
Entravision decided to sell the radio properties because it did not own a TV station in the market. “Going forward, we will continue to build leading positions in the fastest growing and highest density Hispanic markets where we can operate both television and radio assets, allowing us to efficiently manage our costs and leverage our operating footprint,” said Walter Ulloa, chairman and CEO of Entravision. “
