State Partnership between Hispanic CREO and LARASA Provide Denver with Free Parent Resource Guide. Colorado

“Hispanic Council for Reform and Educational Options (Hispanic CREO) and the Latin American Research and Service Agency (LARASA) will host a press conference to honor their partnership in informing and educating the Hispanic community about the educational options available to their children. To help accomplish this, Hispanic CREO collaborated with LARASA to offer a valuable bilingual resource guide to Latinos on parents’ rights and responsibilities; rights of immigrant students; and parental choice in Colorado. Since mid-May, both organizations have distributed over 5,000 copies of An Education Resource Guide for Parents, to Latino parents in the Denver Metropolitan area.

Polly Baca, President and CEO of LARASA and Scott Flores, Board of Trustee Member of Hispanic CREO will speak at the event. Afterwards, Hispanic CREO and LARASA will distribute guides, discuss the crisis in Latino education and conduct question and answer session about parental choice.
