Gail Borden to boost its Spanish-language offerings. Library in Elgin, Illinois

“Working with leaders of area Hispanic groups, Gail Borden Public Library hopes to beef up its offerings for Spanish speakers and readers.

Jo Ann Armenta, president of the area chapter of the League of United Latin American Citizens, recently presented the library with two Spanish-language books to commemorate their cooperation.

The book passing, library staff said, is a “literal and symbolic presentation (representing) Gail Borden Public Library’s continual efforts to reach all people in its community.”"
