“Los Angeles-based La Agencia de Orcí & Asociados next week will launch a 60-second TV spot for Verizon Communications’ high-speed Internet service.
“Excuses,” which debuts Monday and runs through the end of August, is aimed at consumers with dial-up Internet access and pitches the price of the DSL service while emphasizing the advantages of high-speed for downloading pictures and music. “The spot shows there are no excuses for not signing up,” says Ricardo Cárdenas, executive creative director for La Agencia de Orcí. The campaign will run in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Boston and Washington, D.C.”
