“He was born Andres Arturo Garcia-Menendez on April 12, 1956, in Havana. But to the world over he is better known as Andy Garcia - actor, producer, director, composer/musician and humanitarian.
By the time Andy was 5, he had fled his native Cuba with his family. (By the way, did you know that Andy was born a conjoined twin, but his twin did not survive?)
Upon arriving in Miami, his father, who was a successful lawyer in Cuba, established a multimillion-dollar fragrance import business when he became an American citizen.”
