He also visits his childhood home in the Ironbound district of Newark. Once a predominately Portuguese neighborhood, it’s now a thriving hub of Hispanics and this weeks program includes a visit to a Dominican cigar store, Spanish restaurant, a butcher who specializes in chorizo, and a bodega that has to supply people from the Caribbean islands to Mexico and Brazil. “
