Health fair puts its emphasis on Hispanic population. Staten Island, New York

“Without one of life’s most-precious and most easily-taken-for granted gifts — health — it would have been difficult to find joy in the Mariachi bands and face-painting booths, the balloons and picnic food yesterday at Tappen Park in Stapleton.

So health — and helping people to maintain it — was the reason behind the festive event, sponsored by nearly a dozen Staten Island not-for-profits, businesses and public agencies which provide free and low-cost health services to the community.”
