Hispanic chambers convention to draw thousands in El Paso, Texas

“Some El Paso business operators will be searching for new business at the annual Texas Association of Mexican-American Chambers of Commerce convention in El Paso this week.

“It presents opportunities to talk to potential customers that you may not have even considered approaching,” said Patricia Holguin-Lucero, chief operating officer of Miratek Corp., an El Paso technology and engineering services company. Holguin-Lucero or Joe Diaz, Miratek president, will talk to representatives of several companies, including Wal-Mart, one company it otherwise wouldn’t have thought of approaching about selling technology services, she said.”
