“Nineteen Mexican photographers contribute to Propia Visión the new show opening at the Queens Museum of Art. All the photographers have lived and worked in the New York area, and bring the immigrant filter to their lenses. Some of the photos on exhibit are actually taken in Queens, including one of the Mexican Independence Day celebration in Jackson Heights.”
