More people tuning into Spanish stations in Bakersfield, California

“In the general ratings, KUZZ country is still king, but Spanish radio is on the move, according to the latest radio statistics from Arbitron, which tracks listenership.

Released Thursday for the ratings period in the spring, the Arbitron numbers put KUZZ at the front of the pack, followed by popular hip-hop station KISV, Hot 94.1 FM and Clear Channel’s No. 1 Spanish station KBFP “La Preciosa,” 105.3 FM.

It’s the same trio that topped the last ratings period for the winter of 2006, only with KISV on top and KUZZ in second place for Arbitron’s general audience (listeners ages 12 and up.”
