“Oregon’s largest Hispanic-farmworkers union is building a low-power radio station.

PCUN, a Spanish acronym for Northwest Treeplanters and Farmworkers United, received federal approval in May 2005 to build and operate the station.

The 100-watt multilingual station will begin broadcasting in November, but its first on-air broadcasting test is scheduled for 6 p.m. Aug. 20.”
