Hispanic involvement in church growing

“Numbers seem to speak for themselves, as far as Hispanic leaders in the church are concerned: In less than five years, young Hispanic persons - 18 to 20 million between the ages of 9 and 28 - will be the majority of the Catholic Church.

They represent diverse backgrounds, coming from Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America and into the United States, and all of them are looking for increased prosperity for themselves and their families in their native countries, according to information from the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM).”
