“The Peruvian flag floated over more than 15,000 people at Tamiami Park during the annual Peruvian festival Sunday.

The event was organized by Hispanic Group in commemoration of Peru’s Independence Day, which is July 28. For the occasion, the Peruvian flag was raised above the crowd during a traditional ceremony held by the president of Hispanic Group and the consul of Peru in Miami.

The festival was created to give an opportunity to Peruvian artists so they could perform on a bigger platform and expand their audience.”
