“Mexican immigrants in four Southeastern states are helping to “shape the state’s economic profile,” according to a book released by the University of Georgia.

In “Going North: Mexican Immigrants in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee,” researchers compiled data on the economic and demographic qualities of the states’ Mexican populations.
