Timothy Sandos Named to Head NAHREP; Former Mortgage Banking Executive Takes CEO Role with Prominent Hispanic Real Estate Trade Association

“Timothy Sandos, a former emerging markets executive with CitiMortgage, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), Chairman Frances Martinez Myers announced today. Sandos will lead the industry’s fastest growing trade association for Hispanics and will spearhead its position on public policy issues that affect its practitioners and Latino homebuyers.

Prior to his appointment, Sandos was executive vice president of Emerging Markets for St. Louis-based CitiMortgage, where he led the company’s programs and initiatives that targeted minority and underserved market segments throughout the nation.

“NAHREP gains the leadership and discipline of a strong corporate background in the industry and a familiarity with the legislative process with Tim Sandos,” said Frances Martinez Myers. “Under his direction, NAHREP will be able to increase its support of its member network and make its voice heard more clearly on legislative issues.”"
