“The Beca Foundation awarded nearly $68,000 in scholarships Saturday to help 48 local Latino students pay for college educations and pursue their dreams.
Eighteen recent high school graduates from North County were among those honored by the foundation for their grades, community service and cultural pride during a reception at Cal State San Marcos featuring many proud parents and smiling students.”
