“The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, following a restructuring of its awards process, has selected Henry Cisneros for its first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Hispanic chamber awards dinner is July 31 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

Cisneros was the first Hispanic mayor of a major U.S. city when he took the helm in San Antonio in the 1980s.”
