“This is a big week for rock and pop in Spanish.
You’ve got the start of a national tour with Marc Anthony at Shoreline on Friday, in a trio show that last year sold more than 20,000 tickets. This year, his partners are Marco Antonio Solis and Laura Pausini, with romantic pop that easily crosses over to mainstream audiences.
But more interesting for rockers is that San Jose’s Blank Club presents its first big rock en español showcase, also Friday, with three Northern California bands that play alternative music in Spanish.”
