“The nation’s only Hispanic governor, Bill Richardson of New Mexico, is scheduled to visit Sunnyside on Saturday to rally Democrats and get out the Hispanic vote.
He will host a town hall meeting starting at 3 p.m. at the Sunnyside Community Center, 1521 S. First St.
Elected governor in 2002, Richardson has not discouraged speculation that he is considering a presidential bid in 2008. But first, he’s running for re-election as governor this fall.”
