“Officer Henry Pena has been working for the Saint Joseph Police Department for 16-years but he`s noticed a trend in recent months.
“I`m called to translate whenever there is a barrier with Spanish speaking. And they bring me in, that way we can understand eachother” Pena said.
As a first generation Mexican-American, he spent many summers in Mexico where he learned to speak Spanish.”
