Univision pioneer, Joaquín Blaya, working on Mideast

“One of the pioneers of Spanish-language television in the United States is now at work on the media image of the United States in the Middle East.

Joaquí­n Blaya, who created programs such as Noticiero Univisión, El Show de Cristina, Sábado Gigante and Primer Impacto, is leading a communications project sponsored by the U.S. government to provide balanced information and an independent voice for tolerance and peaceful dialogue in a region torn by violence.”
