“For fun, there is the Latino Soccer League Inc., which has existed for more than 10 years. That league is awaiting Wichita City Council approval, possibly this
week, to take over maintenance of two soccer fields at 35th North and Ohio in exchange for a waiver of user fees — a savings of $4,500 a year, based on 2005 figures.
The city had charged the Latino Soccer League $225 per team. The league had 20 teams and more than 250 players.”
