“California State University and community college representatives said last week that, should it become law, they will comply with a proposed federal amendment that would bar California and nine other states from using federal dollars to cover in-state tuition for undocumented immigrants.
Rep. John Culberson, a Republican from Houston, Texas, recently added the amendment to the 2007 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education appropriations bill.”
