Bryan teaches Americans, Hispanics about the American dream in North Carolina

“If America is going to embrace people from around the globe, Herlinda Bryan will lead the way in Lenoir County.

“I am an ambassador of Hispanic countries,” Herlinda said at her home in La Grange. “Being multi-cultural ”” living with many cultures ”” is beautiful. We have to be open to our differences and embrace the differences.”

A native of Guadalajara ”” the second largest city in Mexico ”” Herlinda teaches Spanish classes and English as a Second Language at La Grange Elementary School. Four nights a week, she also teaches English through Lenoir Community College to a group of about 30 Hispanic adults.”
