“Tejano sax-master Joe Posada returns with his sophomore CD, Amor y Fuego, after achieving much success with his comeback CD, Then and Now. Of course, this isn’t really a sophomore album, but after not recording for a while, he released the comeback CD which received lots of radio play. Now, this new CD serves as the next chapter of his return and it is a strong, creative, and smooth set of tracks.
Produced by the legendary and Grammy-award winning producer Gilbert Velasquez, along with Posada, and arranged by Posada, Velasquez and Posada’s longtime bassist Pete Ojeda, the CD is great from beginning to end. And with Posada penning all of the tracks, the CD just oozes with creativity.”
