East Dayton experiences Hispanic population boom. Ohio

“From the Sunday soccer matches of Liga Azteca at Highland Park to the Hispanic grocery, video and notary public businesses on East Third Street, the Latino population is growing in the Dayton area.

“When I first got here, it was really rare to see a Hispanic anywhere, like in the stores,” said 31-year-old Carlos Sotelo, who moved from Mexico to the Dayton area 12 years ago. “Now, you see them everywhere.”"
