“One hundred and thirty high school students from Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia will have a rare opportunity to learn about college and careers at the third annual Greater Washington Hispanic Youth Symposium, July 6-8 at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
The Hispanic College Fund’s Greater Washington Hispanic Youth Symposium begins Thursday July 6th with a challenge to the students to frame issues that affect them and to design solutions. Other topics covered the first day include: foundations for personal success, the importance of team building and networks, as well as exploration of talent, art and public speaking.
