“Dozens of volunteers went door-to-door today to sign up Hispanic voters during the last day of a week-long Hispanic convention.
The local effort was coordinated by Voces (VOH’-ses) de la Frontera (frohn’-TEHRA) and is part of a national campaign to register two (m) million new voters.

Dolores Huerta, co-founder of the United Farm Workers, helped kick off the voter registration drive at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee.”
