The co-worker told him about a Hickory dentist running a small practice out of her townhouse.
Cardona Santiago, a Puerto Rico native and a U.S. citizen, paid $1,000 up front to have work begun, but now he can’t find his dentist to finish the job — or to get his money back. That’s because police charged the dentist, Nancy Escobar Henao, with practicing without a license.”
