Survey: Area’s Hispanics too busy, cynical to vote in Orlanda, Florida

The Orlando-based advocacy group Latino Leadership collected the perceptions of a focus group of 150 Hispanics from Metro Orlando as the organization launched a voter-registration drive this spring

About 42 percent of the more than 464,000 Hispanics in the seven Central Florida counties were registered voters as of last year, compared with an overall registration of 62 percent for the region.”
