“¿Bueno? ¿Aló? ¿Diga? Hello? Cingular Wireless is converting nine stores in Georgia, including two in Gainesville, to cater to Hispanic consumers as part of its growth strategy.

The company will roll out additional stores throughout the year.

Beginning this week, Cingular Wireless is converting signage and collateral in these stores to both English and Spanish. Bilingual sales people will be prepared to serve customers in both English and Spanish and will be trained to handle the needs of Latino consumers using “culturally-appropriate selling techniques. “”
