Crist launches two new campaign commercials, one in Spanish in Florida

“Charlie Crist began airing the first of two new campaign ads Saturday in his bid for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, a 30-second spot touting his record on crime, education and taxes.

The ad, titled “The Crist Record,” aired in Orlando, said campaign spokeswoman Vivian Myrtetus. Tampa, Naples, Fort Myers and Jacksonville will be added throughout the weekend.

A Spanish-language ad, “El Sueno Americano” or “The American Dream,” will begin airing this weekend in Tampa and Orlando. The 30-second spot features an endorsement from U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla.”
