Blackstone Group and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. on Wednesday abandoned a bidding group vying for the company, a source familiar with the matter said, complicating the group’s pursuit of the company and putting pressure on the remaining members to cough up more money should they submit a formal offer.”
