Knowledge is Power!

“Television isn’t the only rapidly changing media outlet in town. In April, Spanish radio industry veteran Thomas J. McSweeney took control of WNVL (1240 AM), Activa, Nashville’s only full-power 24-hour Hispanic radio station, and he couldn’t be more enthusiastic.

”There’s a huge upside with the growth, particularly in the whole South/ Southeast. I think it’s not been discovered yet. When I look here at the great clients like McDonald’s, grocery store chains, pharmaceuticals, and consider there are probably 125,000-plus Hispanics that are here ”” it’s a great opportunity,” said McSweeney, who was previously vice president/general manager of Univision Radio’s Los Angeles stations.”
