On March 15, 2006 a group of approximately 200 Southside real estate
professionals filed into a banquet hall on the southwest side of Chicago to
discuss their concerns over the discriminatory law known as HB-4050. From that
gathering, it was evident a committee needed to be formed to ensure that real
estate issues concerning the Southside must not get overlooked.

A group of willing real estate professionals from nine different Southside real
estate offices began a process of establishing a not-for-profit organization to
represent the Southside realtors. Soon there after the organization began to
take form and a name was selected… Real Estate Professionals for Community
Awareness (R.E.P.C.A).

Although created due to the perceived injustice of HB-4050, R.E.P.C.A is
prepared to remain a force for the foreseeable future. R.E.P.C.A is determined
to properly assist our communities by providing the most accurate information
regarding real estate!
