“The newest resident of Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park won’t move in until around Thanksgiving, and chief curator Hal Simon is thankful for that.

There’s still so much to learn about her.

The “resident” will be a Tejano housewife whose fictional husband works for one of the railroads that provided Dallas with an early dose of prosperity. Home will be a two-room dwelling at the railroad section house that will provide a detailed look at working-class life in Dallas around 1870.”
