“Mi Rancho, a Hispanic-oriented grocery store, is looking to spice up the grocery market in North Texas.

Locally, supermarket chains like Houston-based Fiesta Inc. and homegrown Minyard Food Stores Inc., with its Carnival stores, have proven that they can bag ample grocery dollars by catering to the Hispanic population. Now Mi Rancho, a smaller-scale Mexican-style grocery boasting a bakery and taqueria, hopes to do the same. The Houston-based grocer snapped up about 17,000 square feet at Carrollton Park Village on Belt Line Road in Carrollton. Earl Harris, of The Weitzman Group in Dallas, handled the lease for the landlord.”
