“If you’re a regular Latina Lista reader, then you know that when it comes to risk factors for developing some of today’s most crippling diseases, Latinos rank pretty high.
In other words, the chances of us and our familias being dependent on the healthcare system for treatment and care is practically a sure thing.
It doesn’t help either that there is a national nursing shortage.”
