“The debate on the future of Puerto Rico’s relationship with the United States, perhaps the most contentious issue on the island and the one that frames nearly all other political questions there, will move to Hartford Monday night.

At a time when Puerto Rico’s status has inched up on political agendas in both Washington and on the island, Hartford’s World Affairs Council has organized a discussion by panelists representing the three status alternatives - continuation of Puerto Rico as a U.S. territory, its admission as the 51st state and independence.”
