“In the first 14 of 64 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2006(TM) tournament, Univision, the championship’s official Spanish-language television network, has outdelivered English-language networks ABC and ESPN2 by 11%, averaging 2.3 million Persons 2 .
According to Nielsen’s National Television Index (NTI), Univision also averaged 1.4 million Adult 18-49 viewers versus ABC/ESPN2’s 1.2 million for an 18% advantage. Among Kids 2-11 and Teens 12-17, Univision held the advantage over ESPN2 by 57% and 20%, respectively.”
