“There is more than $200,000 available for small-business loans through the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The loans may be used for a new or existing business and are for any small-business owner, said Lou Gomez, chamber president and CEO.

“They don’t have to be a (chamber) member or even Hispanic,” Gomez said.”
