“Two local institutions of higher education have joined a statewide organization that aims at uniting Hispanic-serving institutions to help students and increase funding.

Del Mar College and Texas A&M University-Kingsville have been among the first to join the newly formed Texas Hispanic Serving Institutions Consortium. Other Texas Hispanic-serving universities and colleges are expected to follow as the organization grows.”
