“The community must attack problems afflicting the education, income and health of Latinos to protect the quality of life for all residents, 15 Dane County leaders said Tuesday.
“All of these things are interconnected,” Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz said at a program unveiling a United Way of Dane County report that examines the life of Latinos in Dane County.
His remarks came at the end of an event that stretched nearly three hours, double the scheduled length, underscoring the complexity of addressing the needs of the county’s fast- growing Latino population.”
