Duke to donate millions to Latino credit union in North Carolina

“Duke University says it will deposit up to five (M) million dollars over the next five years in the Latino Community Credit Union. The university says the money will help low-income residents of Durham get loans.
Duke says it plans to deposit the money in increments of a million dollars and that it could help provide 50 mortgages. The credit union is designating the donated funds for low-income consumer and mortgage loans.”
